" Headlamp Hustle "
Acrylic on Canvas . 11" x 18" x .75" . 2017
Single Line Painting
It was the 2016 Holiday break and I decided to bring a roll of canvas and paint markers with me on a 3 night splitboarding trip into the Tetrahedrons. We arrived at the trailhead in the dusk, and by the time we started skinning the night was fully upon us. The three of us left the luxuries of our vehicle and entered into the wilderness under the guidance of our headlamps. Admittedly my headlamp was a piece of garbage and I found myself following the lead of the stars and moon rather than the faint attempts of my headlamp.
This piece was created during that trip, within the Edwards Hut and Steele Hut where we slept over the course of our adventure.
