" Solstice Sunrise "
Acrylic on Canvas . 24" x 24" x 1.5"
It was the Summer Solstice, and we made our way across Howe Sound to the top of Anvil Island to sleep under the stars and greet the sun the following day. The sunrise that morning, shining through parting clouds, lit up the Sound and Garibaldi with rays so bright it felt manipulated. The Sea to Sky Corridor has been calling, and the heart has finally found its way home in the Squamish Valley.
