I'll admit it - I'm obsessed with the Tantalus Range in British Columbia, and have been for some time now. It seems so close, yet is incredibly difficult to access, requiring either some intensive navigating and strength to climb from below, or a helicopter to drop you from above. Regardless, this range requires navigation skills and time spent pouring over maps of the region. Did I mention that the weather patterns of this range can be quite dramatic, as the peaks seem to attract wind, and clouds, and rain, and baking sun?
It's all of those things, all of those sentiments, happening at once. It's adventure and exploration. It's the time spent looking and pondering the range, and the stories that have come from those within it and looking on from beyond.
