" Spruce Lake Chilcotins - Single Line Drawing "
Ink on Archival Paper . 2017
We based our mountain bike camp out of an area along Spruce Lake within the Chilcotin Ranges. The first day we camped I left the fly off so that I could fall asleep to the stars and wake up to the sun. I wasn't the first one to rise that morning, and I woke to the sound of loons singing on the lake and one of my friends fishing along the banks. This drawing I created from my tent in the woods out of one single line, that was then filled in and defined with further hatch marks.
